INVL subfund for informed investors that invests in EQT aims to raise investor funds

The INVL Partner Private Equity Fund I, a feeder subfund of INVL, the leading investment management and life insurance group in the Baltic region, seeks to attract more funds from investors.

The INVL fund will put investors’ money to work in the EQT X, a fund with a target size of EUR 20 billion established by EQT, one of the world’s largest private equity investment firms. The EQT X invests mainly in European and US companies in the healthcare, technology, and business services sectors.

“Our fund gives investors an opportunity to diversify their holdings by investing in a global fund. Given the EQT X fund’s high requirements, it would be significantly harder for local investors to access it directly,” says Vytautas Plunksnis, the Head of Private Equity at the INVL group.

The offering of INVL Partner Private Equity Fund I investment units to informed investors begins on 1 June and will continue through 21 July. In Lithuania, the fund’s units are distributed by the brokerage firm INVL Financial Advisors.

The minimum investment in this INVL fund launched in January 2023 is EUR 125,000. The length of the fund is 15 years.

In March this year, the INVL subfund for informed investors raised EUR 18.45 million from investors.

The global EQT fund focuses on long-term secular growth, investing in high-growth companies and seeking a higher return while keeping risk lower than the private equity average. EQT’s private equity investments are managed by about 150 investment professionals.

EQT had assets under management of EUR 119 billion at the end of March 2023. Its Luxembourg-registered EQT X fund, which started up last year and in which the INVL Partner Private Equity Fund I will invest directly, had raised EUR 15 billion from investors as of the end of 2022 and aims to increase that amount to EUR 20 billion.

The INVL Partner Private Equity Fund I was established by the asset management company INVL Asset Management, a part of INVL, the leading investment management and life insurance group in the Baltics.
