Changes to INVL investment funds rules

As of 1 December the open-ended harmonised investment fund INVL Baltic Fund and the INVL Emerging Europe Bond Sub-Fund of the harmonised investment fund INVL Umbrella Fund will be removed from the Fund List of the Nasdaq Vilnius stock exchange.

Units of the funds may be bought or sold on the exchange until and including 30 November 2023, the last day of their listing on the Nasdaq Vilnius. Note that the minimum number of fund units that may be sold on the Nasdaq Vilnius exchange is 1 (one) (the whole number).

Starting 1 December, the units of these funds will be traded through Šiaulių Bankas, thus there new possibilities will arise to purchase the fund’ units at Šiaulių Bankas branches throughout Lithuania as well as via electronic channels. The delisting will reduce these funds’ costs. For participants who purchased units of the investment funds outside the Nasdaq Vilnius exchange, the process of buying and selling units of the funds will not change.

To sell units of the funds which were purchased on the Nasdaq Vilnius exchange (secondary market), after 1 December you will need to:

  • submit a request to the public trading intermediary, who keeps records of the Participant’s purchases of fund units, for a free-of-charge transfer of the investment fund units to Šiaulių Bankas and
  • submit an application for redemption of the investment fund units to Šiaulių Bankas.

The operating documents (rules, prospectus and other documents) of the open-ended harmonised investment fund INVL Baltic Fund and the INVL Emerging Europe Bond Sub-Fund of the harmonised investment fund INVL Umbrella Fund will be amended accordingly, changing the information on the distribution procedure: removing the information on the ability to buy/sell units on the Nasdaq Vilnius exchange, with the conditions, procedures and fees related thereto. These changes to the funds’ rules and other documents are considered material and will enter into force on 1 December 2023.
