INVL Russia ex-Government Equity Subfund

About the fund

INVL Asset Management decided to dissolve (liquidate) INVL Russia ex-Government Equity Subfund. The sale, redemption, and exchange of units of the Subfund, seeking to protect the interests of participants, were suspended from 1 March 2022. After making the decision on liquidation the sale, redemption, and exchange of units of the Subfund are terminated (indefinitely).

INVL Asset Management also notes that in light of the current situation it remains difficult to reliably predict the timing for realizing the subfund’s remaining financial instruments and distribution of cash holdings as well as it is not yet possible to forecast the final date of the subfund‘s liquidation. For these reasons the management company decided to carry out the settlement with the participants of the subfund in several stages until all the assets of the subfund are realized and the received funds are distributed to the participants.

The first distribution of free cash holdings of the subfund, by proportionally redeeming respective amount of investment units from all the participants of INVL Russia ex-Government Equity Subfund, was made on 31 August 2022. The information about the distribution of the remaining funds and the final date of termination of the subfund will be announced on the website www.invl.com.

Final distribution of cash holdings of the subfund to the participants was made on 25 May 2023.

INVL Asset Management will not apply the management fee specified in the rules of the subfund for the period from the suspension of the subfund’s activity.

INVL Russia ex-Government Equity Subfund investments are concentrated on shares of 15 to 25 Russian companies that have been evaluated by the Subfund’s managers as the most attractive (except state-controlled enterprises. It is considered that the state control is in the company by owning more than 20 percent of the shares). The investment is aimed at maximizing the return on investment in shares of Russian companies and assumes a high risk of fluctuations.

The Fund’s name until 17 February 2016 was Finasta Russia TOP20 Subfund.

The Fund’s name since 18 February 2016 until 30 June 2021 – INVL Russia TOP20 Subfund.
